Gas price , gas cost , we need internet to solve this!

Since the blow about gas price news around the world, so many drastic movement user take to reduce the cost of gas and daily expenses... one of the popular step for automotive user is change the petrol to VGV system, ride the public transport, or minimize the using of transport.... So what it effect for internet industries??? What the first thing i thinking is, online business or online transaction.... i think it will grow, and people will start to appreciate it....but the government and IT industry related must do effective campaign to give more confidence to user, especially in rural area to believe in internet transaction. As a IT expert we know using internet to do online business is saving the cost, money, and human power also what we concern now is saving gas, this is the important fact what they must pass to normal internet user ..... So if many routine job for example like paying the electric bill we just use internet transaction, this will saving more cost...plus now so many WIFI zone provide by government, we can do it anywhere and anytime.... I expect 5 years from know if the gas price still or raise like this people must all sector must force towards to Internet transaction or internet business...
